STANDARD CLASSES: 

BEGINNER

Beginner 1 – You will learn how to introduce yourself and others, talk about where you are from, describe yourself and others, order food and drinks in a café, book a hotel room and talk about leisure activities. The main grammar topics covered are gender and number of nouns, articles and adjectives, irregular verbs essere (to be) and avere (to have), regular – are verbs, idiomatic expressions with verb avere (to have) – Book to use in class: Tutto Bene! Livello 1

POST BEGINNER (CEFR A1)

- Post Beginner 2 – You will learn how to talk about family, housework, leisure activities and the weather, order ice-cream, ask and say the time, buy a train ticket and organise a trip.
The main grammar topics covered are: regular -are, -ere, -ire verbs, -isc verbs, some irregular verbs such as andare (to go) and fare (to do), idiomatic expressions with fare (to do), possessive adjectives, some prepositions – Book to use in class: Tutto Bene! Livello 2, Chapters 1-6

- Post Beginner 3 – You will learn how to give directions, order in a restaurant, buy fruit and veggies at the market, follow a recipe, talk about holiday plans, discuss your weekday and weekend routine, talk about clothes and buy clothes in a shop. The main grammar topics covered are: some irregular verbs, such as venire (to come) and bere (to drink), modal verbs (potere, dovere, volere), reflexive verbs in the present, direct pronouns, partitive articles, superlatives, adverbs of manner – Book to use in class: Tutto Bene! Livello 2, Chapters 7-10 + Tutto Bene! Livello 3, Chapters 1-3

- Post Beginner 4 – You will learn how to talk about the past (telling stories, discussing memories, discuss what you did recently), describe places, objects and situations in the past and talk about feelings and emotions. The main grammar topics covered here are: passato prossimo (perfect tense) of regular and irregular verbs, imperfetto (imperfect tense) of verb essere (to be), the difference between passato prossimo and imperfetto, time expressions in the past and articulated prepositions. – Book to use in class: Tutto Bene! Livello 3, Chapters 4-10

LOWER INTERMEDIATE – (CEFR A1/A2)

- Lower Intermediate 1 – Revisione dei verbi regolari in -are, -ere e -ire, revisione di articoli determinativi e indeterminativi, i verbi modali, i verbi andare e venire, l'avverbio molto – Book to use in class: Dieci A1, Chapters 1-4

- Lower Intermediate 2 – L'aggettivo molto, il verbo piacere, i pronomi indiretti, i verbi riflessivi, le preposizioni articolate – Book to use in class: Dieci A1, Chapters 5-6

- Lower Intermediate 3 – Il passato prossimo, il superlativo assoluto, i pronomi diretti, il si impersonale – Book to use in class: Dieci A1, Chapters 7-8

- Lower Intermediate 4 – I pronomi diretti, l'imperfetto con essere, l'imperativo – Book to use in class: Dieci  A1, Chapters 9-10

INTERMEDIATE – (CEFR A2/B1)

- Intermediate 1 – Superlativo assoluto, passato prossimo con verbi riflessivi e modali –Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapter 1

- Intermediate 2 – L'imperfetto, il comparativo di maggioranza, minoranza e uguaglianza, il presente storico - Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapter 2

- Intermediate 3 – Il condizionale semplice, alcuni verbi pronominali, né… né, il verbo sapere – Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapter 3

- Intermediate 4 – Stare+gerundio, l'imperativo, il NE partitivo, il verbo averci – Book to use in class:  Dieci A2, Chapters 4-5

- Intermediate 5 – I pronomi combinati, l'infinito, il pronome relativo che, il futuro, i connettivi siccome, insomma, perchè, cioè  – Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapters 6-7

- Intermediate 6 – ·Il superlativo relativo, il pronome relativo cui, il condizionale presente: forme regolari, irregolari e contratte, i nomi alterati - Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapter 8

- Intermediate 7 – Stare per + infinito, Sapere e Conoscere al passato prossimo, Avverbi, il SI Impersonale, gli aggettivi indefiniti qualche e alcuni  - Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapter 9  

- Intermediate 8 – La particella NE al passato prossimo, altri usi di CI, la costruzione CHE + aggettivo, il futuro per le ipotesi - Book to use in class: Dieci A2, Chapter 10

UPPER-INTERMEDIATE – (CEFR B1/B2)

- Upper-Intermediate 1 – Il trapassato prossimo, i pronomi relative, il comparativo di uguaglianza, il termine di paragone -  Book to use in class: Dieci B1, Capitolo 1 

- Upper-Intermediate 2 – Revisione del condizionale presente, il condizionale passato, le particelle ci e ne, alcuni verbi pronominali, i pronomi possessivi – Book to use in class: Nuovo Espresso 3, Capitolo 2

- Upper-Intermediate 3 – Revisione del congiuntivo presente, il congiuntivo passato, espressioni con il congiuntivo, avverbi (-mente) – Book to use in class: Nuovo Espresso 3, Capitolo 3

- Upper-Intermediate 4 – Coniugazione e uso del congiuntivo imperfetto, il discorso

- Upper-Intermediate 5 – Il passato remoto, la forma passiva, la costruzione che io sappia – Book to use in class: Nuovo Espresso 3, Capitolo 5

- Upper-Intermediate 6 – espressioni con il congiuntivo e l’indicativo, comparativi e superlativi particolari, la forma fare+infinito, la forma impersonale dei verbi riflessivi – Book to use in class: Nuovo Espresso 3, Capitolo 6

SEMI-ADVANCED – (CEFR B2/C1)

Revision of trapassato prossimo, imperfetto, passato prossimo, il passato remoto - forme regolari e irregolari, l'uso di piuttosto che e anzi, il condizionale di dissociazione  – Dieci B2, Capitolo 1.

Il congiuntivo trapassato, il periodo ipotetico del terzo tipo, l'imperfetto nel periodo ipotetico del terzo tipo, i verbi pronominali, le frasi implicite con il participio passato - Dieci B2, Capitolo 2 

La concordanza al congiuntivo, la particella NE al passato prossimo, la costruzione CHE+aggettivo/nome, il futuro epistemico - Dieci B2, Capitolo 3

La concordanza con la reggente al passato, i verbi con doppio ausiliare, diminutivi con valore affettivo e approssimativo - Dieci B2, Capitolo 4

ADVANCED – (CEFR C1/C2)
