FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN CARLTON

All students who wish to enrol in a face-to-face course in Carlton will be required to be double vaccinated and show proof of their vaccinations upon arrival on the first day of their class. All CIS staff and teachers are fully vaccinated. Students without the double vaccination won’t be allowed to enter the school. CIS does not accept Covid-19 vaccine exemptions.

Covid 19 restrictions: In case of COVIDSafe measures or lockdowns put in place across Metropolitan Melbourne by the Victorian Government, all the face-to-face classes will be moved online until the restrictions will be lifted. No credit notes or refund will be given unless the school is unable to offer an alternative class online.

Free extra classes: From the fourth (4th) week of each term, students are most welcome to attend as many extra standard online classes as they wish, at any level at no extra cost, depending on availability. Students are required to write an email to the office to book extra classes week by week and wait for a confirmation.

Transferring from face-to-face to online classes: Transferring from face-to-face classes in Carlton to online classes after the commencement of the term will not entitle students to a refund. Transferring from face-to-face classes to online classes will be possible only if the online classes are not full.

Refunds: Refunds are possible up to one week before the first day of the term. No refunds will be issued when the term starts. Students who withdraw one week prior to the commencement of the course are entitled to a refund minus a 15% administration fee or a Credit Note for the full amount. Once a Credit Note is issued, it cannot then be exchanged for a refund. No refunds will be issued for missed classes.

Deferment of a course: It is possible to defer a course in the first week of the term. Students who decide to defer a course must send an email to the office within the end of week 1 of the term.

Credit Notes can be arranged for students who, through extreme circumstances only, are forced to withdraw from classes in the first week of term or the first two (2) days of the intensive course only. No Credit Notes will be issued after this period. No credits are issued for missed classes. Credit Notes are not redeemable for cash or bookshop merchandise and are valid for one year.

Cancelled Classes: CIS reserves the right to cancel any class that does not reach the minimum number of enrolments. In the event of a class being cancelled, students can transfer to another class. Alternatively, a refund or credit note will be issued.

Public Holidays: Classes will not be held on Victorian public holidays as the school will be closed. Students are welcome to attend any other adult classes during that week. No refunds or Credit Notes are issued for missed classes during Public Holidays.

Respect our team: CIS team works to make your learning experience in our school a pleasant one. We will not tolerate any verbal or written abuse and aggressive behaviour towards our teachers, employees and students.
